IMASENIC is presenting its Depth Sensing Image Sensor (DSIS) architecture at the Collaborative Workshop on the Architecture of Smart Cameras, Barcelona. It is a proprietary architecture which allows to take 2D images as well as depth information with a single sensor.
Together with three other Spanish semiconductor companies, IMASENIC found the Spanish Association of the Semiconductor Industry, or Asociación Española de la Industria de los Semiconductores, AESEMI (link to aesemi.org). The association is working to promote the whole ecosystem of semiconductor industry in Spain and beyond.

IMASENIC is the lead partner in this Horizon 2020 – Fast Track Innovation project. Its partners in this project are ThermoFisher Scientific, the world leader in scientific instruments, and the group of the Laboratory for Molecular Biology, LMB, UK; led by Nobel-laureate prof R. Henderson. IMASENIC is developing a high-speed, wafer-scale custom CMOS image sensors as well as the readout electronics. Read more here.
